The Area Agencies on Aging network is committed to helping Virginia  become "elder ready" in light of the growing numbers of older Virginians. Twenty-five local Agencies on Aging across the Commonwealth provide care coordination to enable older people to stay in their homes as long as possible, affording them dignity and independency. These dedicated agencies believe, as do older people, that there's "No Place Like Home". They efficiently use precious resources such as volunteers, contributions, and tax dollars through their public-private partnerships to address the various needs of the elderly.

Their mission was to tell legislators that seniors want to stay at
home as long as possible.  For more info click on No Place Like Home
